We had our own little car show at the
West Jordan Stampede Demolition Derby.

Five cars make for a small car show.

Smile, everybody.

Let the crashes begin.

Shannon looks sooooooo cute.

Also shy little Nicole

Our mascot Clay caught himself a prize.

Gale, Jeff and Wayne are enjoying the show.

They sure put on a great show.

Our next event on the Fourth of July took us to Grantsville.
It was the first "International Drive Your Studebaker Day".
We had 12 Studes in the show.
Here we are waiting for the parade to end.

My 1963 Wagonaire did not like the heat, it started to vapor lock.

Elton, Esther, Barbara and Wayne found some shade.

All lined up at the show.

Fred is showing off his "Fifty Years Of Lark" T-shirt.

Joe had a day off and brought his friend Linda
and his beautiful 1927 President.

On August First after our breakfast meeting
seven Studes drove to the world's largest open pit copper mine.
We are posing by one of the tires from a dump truck

Shannon found a place to hide

Wayne and Fred are proud of the awards they received at the car show in Grantsville.

This picture shows the seven Studebakers that made the drive.
Starting from the left: 1950 Champion, Eddy & Babette Julius.
1960 Lark convertible, Fred & Erika Ball. 1957 Golden Hawk, Terry & Janell Overturf
1961 Lark, Gale & Linda Nation. 1957 Silver Hawk, Wayne & Barbara Fullmer
1964 Cruiser, Doug & Myrna Forney. 1951 Champion, Henry & Esther Scott

The boys hitched a ride on the fire engine, what a thrill.
Three of our chapter members participated in the
"Night Out Against Crime" parade.

We are behind Joe's beautiful 1927 President in the parade.

Next we went to Layton, Utah for the
"Stars of the Past" car show.
Fred and Erika's son Dan joined the fun.

Wayne's '57 Silver Hawk, Fred's '63 Wagonaire and Jay's '62 GT Hawk
lined up to be admired.

Lined up, waiting for the Trophy presentation.
The Wagonaire received it's second Trophy in as many car shows.

Next we participated in the Legacy Retirement Center Car show.
August 15th started out to be a very cool and rainy day.
Here is Fred wiping down his car after a rain shower.

Wayne, Jan and Barbara found a place to be out of the rain.

Jan took a nice picture of Fred drying off his Wagonaire.
Mike and Erika are talking things over in the background.

What a beautiful day for a picnic.

17 people enjoying their meal.

A cake to honor the September birthdays.

Jan did not want to be left out, so.......

...he brought his '53 Studebaker.
